How ProPay Works

1.

Enter your customer's credit card information using ProPay's website or a touch-tone phone.

To process a credit card, you will need to collect your customers:

  • Credit Card Number
  • Card Expiry Date
  • Postal/Zip Code
  • Transaction Amount
  • Security Code

Once you enter this information, ProPay will give you an immediate approval or decline so you know if the payment is valid.

2.

Funds are deposited into your ProPay Account.

Within 1-3 business days (depending on your account type), the transaction funds will be available in your ProPay Account. Login to your ProPay Account to see your account balance and line item reports.

3.

Transfer your money to a chequing account.

You may transfer your ProPay funds to a Canadian chequing account at any time using your ProPay Account.
